Declined Card

If your card was declined you might have not activated your card in the app, you can do this by:

  1. Tapping Cards
  2. Activating your card by inputting a your CVV code (3- digit code)

If you can see a declined message in your app:
• Tap on the declined payment in your app for more information.

If the decline message is unclear, please get in touch with us:
• Tap Menu
• Tap Support

If your card doesn’t work at a particular merchant, then it might mean one of the following:

• We’ve blocked transactions at a particular merchant because they are considered as non-Sharia compliant


• Some merchants might not accept our cards, in this case, please get in touch with us and provide more information

Please tell us:

  1. The name of the merchant or ATM provider where your card’s been declined
  2. The address of the store or ATM (or website if your card was used online)
  3. The time and date of the attempted payment
  4. The amount of the attempted payment
